This has been an incredibly exciting, emotional, overwhelming, exhilarating, groundbreaking time for me. I have decided to take a leap and leave my incredibly rewarding and exhausting job as a teacher to follow my dream of having my own business crafting little creations. This transition has been huge for me. As you can imagine it has been filling my dreams…
… setting up a big office in the basement. There are some unfinished walls to figure out and some lighting that needs to be installed, but I think once I’m done with it, it will be a lovely spot to sit and work.
… having time to create some of the things that I have been imagining and designing in my mind’s eye for quite awhile now.
… being in charge of my own schedule. Reading email with a cup of coffee in the morning. Maybe walking outside to water the garden and feed the chickens. I know I will be busy, crazy busy, but I am excited to have some flexibility.
… Thursday farmers’ markets. I have this fantasy that they aren’t quite as busy and crazy as the Saturday market. Could it be true? Can I make time for it now? I can’t wait.
… dinner parties. So no, this doesn’t have anything to do with my leap of faith, but I have been wanting to cook food and have people over. I can’t help myself.
